耳管開放症の3例

　緒言

　耳管は常時閉鎖状態にあり，嚥下運動．欠伸等の際にのみ開放するものであることは現在の所異論がない．この耳管の通気異常のために耳管狭窄症並に開放症の2形の疾患が成立する．この中前者が極めてありふれた疾患にあるのに比し後者が殆んど世人の注目を惹いていなのは不思議である．私は昭和21年以来その典型的な症例に遭遇したのでここに報告する．

KOIDE devises a metnod by which patency of the Eustachian tube may be accurately recorded. A kymogsaph is constructed with provision of film holder and lens attachment. This is placed at the orifice of the Eustachian tube under proper light facilities. Simultaneously with this picture taking movements of the tympanic membrane and intra-nasal pressure changes are recorded with manome-ters consisting of water and mercury for respecti-ve uses.
