喉頭結核の治療に關する研究—頸動脈腺摘出術の應用

　緒言

　喉頭結核症に於ては，上氣道殊に咽頭粘膜に於ける貧血が著明であると中村教授が述べておられるが，吾教室に於ける統計的觀察に於ても咽頭粘膜蒼白なるものは450例中70％の多きに達している．

　余はさきに，試みに喉頭結核患者の上氣道粘膜温度を熱電對を應用して測定した所，健康人のそれに比し著しい温度差があり平均口蓋部では1.5゜C頬部では1.0℃低温なる事を證した．かくの如く喉頭結核慮者の上氣道粘膜が特に貧血を示している事は粘膜の抵抗力の減退が考えられ，之が喉頭結核發生の局所的素因の一つとして重大なる役割を演ずるものと考えられる．

Findings of anemic state in the nasal mucous membranes in tuberculous patients called atten-tion to autonomic nervous system. Carotid bodies were removed from a patient who was afflicted with laryngeal tuberculosis. The operation was limited to one case only, but, the results, in so far as, the anemia of the nasal mucous membr-ane, pain, and appearancl of the laryngeal lesion were concerned, were fovorable.
