剖檢により初めて甲状腺癌轉移なるを知り得た顎骨腫瘍の1例

緒言

　本症例は顎骨に轉移性と思はれる腫瘍を認めたのであるが，生前，その原發部位を闡明するに至らず，剖檢により始めて甲状腺を原發とする癌腫であることが，判明したものである．然かも，死因となつた胃潰瘍は，恐らく甲嚢腫機能に因果關係を有すると思はれる興味ある症例であつて，病理化學的にも貴重な1例と思ひ報告する．

Patieut, male, 67 years of age revealed a tu-mor, the size of canary egg, on the mandible at the dentsl root and auother tumor in the neck, about the size of pigeons egg, Rodimn and X-ray treatments were tried but the patieut succumbed to a massive hemorrhage at necropsy it was rev ealed that the tumor originating in the thyroid gl-and was meta stasizcd to adrenal glands, kidneys, and the stomack, besides the mandibular bone.
