泌尿器科における新抗生物質キャソマイシンの使用経験

CLINICAL EXPERIENCE OF A NEW ANTIBIOTIC "CATHOMYCIN" IN UROLOGY

　最近，種々の抗生物質の登場によつて，各種感染症に対する治療成績が向上しつつあり，とくに広い抗菌性スペクトルを有する抗生物質の出現は劃期的な効果をおさめて来ている。泌尿器科領域においても，種々の尿路感染症に抗生物質の適用が行われ，夫々特徴的な効果をおさめて来ている。最近我々は明治製菓より新抗生物質であるキャソマイシンの提供を受け，これを尿路感染症とくに急性膀胱炎に使用し，極めて優秀な成績を得たのでここに報告する。

Clinical studies of a new antibiotic, Catho-mycin, have been performed.

This drug has been used on twenty-two pa-tients with acute cystitis and it was found that this drug is as effective as other anti-biotics. Minimal side effect occurred only in three patients out of twenty-two, and there was no nessecity of discontinuing the medi-cation.
