尿路感染症に対する持続性サルファ剤Bayrenaの使用経験

APPLICATION OF LONG-ACTING SULFONAMIDE, BAYRENA, ON URINARY TRACT INFECTION

I．はじめに

　泌尿器科領域に於いては，細菌感染による疾患が比較的多く，或いはまた細菌感染によつて外科的治療後の経過が大いに影響される事も少なくない。従つてDomagkによるプロントジルの発見以来多数のサルファ剤による化学療法や，ペニシリンに端を発した一連の抗生物質の発見による抗生物質療法として泌尿器科領域では極めて多種多量の抗菌性物質が用いられて来ている。しかし，近年抗生物質の乱用から耐性菌の激増や菌交代現象などという種々の障害が出現する様になり，再びサルファ剤に注目される様になつて来ている。

　殊に最近では新しいサルファ剤，即ち投与量が少しでもなお且つ作用力が強く，作用時間も長い所謂持続性サルファ剤が出現し，広く用いられて来ている。

This report deals with clinical research for treatment of urinary tract infections with along-acting sulfonamide, Sulfamethoxydiazin (Bayrena), which was given initially 1 gm. and subsequently 0.5 gm. at 24 hour intervals orally for an average of 10 days to 8 cases of acute cystitis, 5 cases of chronic cystitis, 3 cases of non-gonorrhoeal urethritis and 4 cases of infectious hydronephrosis.

Of these 20 cases of urinary tract infections, 2 cases obtained remarkable improvement, 7 cases satisfactory improvement, 7 cases fair improvement and 4 cases no improvement.

Good effects such as cleaning and rapid cure of wound were obtained in all 5 cases by the oral administration before and after the surgical prccedures.

No side effects were observed in all cases.
