I．はじめに

　バラルギン（Baralgin）は，鎮痛鎮痙剤としてすでに知られているノバルギン（Novalgin）のほかに，さらにパパベリン（Papaverin）様の物質と，副交感神経抑制剤を含むものであり，この3つの物質の薬理学的相乗，相加作用を利用した極めて強力な鎮痙鎮痛剤である。即ち，急速に効きかつ，長く持続する鎮痛効果のほかに，さらに，パパベリン様物質が平滑筋細胞に直接に作用し，また，副交感神経抑制剤によつて迷走神経興奮の伝達を抑制する作用を有するものであり，従つてバラルギンは，平滑筋の疼痛性痙攣に対する治療に極めて有効な薬剤であり，すでにヨーロッパでは広く用いられ，その効果が大なる事はR，Bi-Ilich，B．Freye，E．Heise，L．Meuwsen，E．Schmiedt ＆ K．F．Albrecht，G．Gruhnらの報告でも明らかである。著者らはこれを，最近，日本ヘキスト株式会社より入手して，泌尿器科的疼痛に使用したので，その臨床効果について報告する。

Administering the spasmolytic-analgesics Baralgin, which is the combinated preparation of Novalgin, papaverin-like substance and parasympathicolytics, the following results were obtained.

(1) Administering Baralgin intravenously to 23 cases of pain of ureterolithiasis, pain after urological examination and postoperative pain, remarkable analgesic effect in 13 cases and moderate analgesic effect in 8 cases were obtained.

In the 8 cases by the oral administration of the Baralgin-Tablet, remarkable analgesic effect in 4 cases and moderate analgesic eff-ect in 4 cases were obtained.
