I．はじめに

　心房内粘液腫は稀な疾患であるが，脳栓塞や脳動脈瘤を合併し，それによりさまざまな神経症状が出現することがある，また神経症状が初発症状のことも多く，それらのなかには脳外科的治療の対象となるものもある．そのため脳血管障害の診断のさい念頭にいれるべき疾患であると思われるが，本邦での剖検所見をも含めた詳細な報告例は少ない．

　今回，著者らは心房内粘液腫により発生したと思われる脳動脈瘤を脳血管撮影にて証明し，また剖検により確認し得た症例を経験したので若干の考察を加え報告する．

A case of neoplastic aneurysm caused by left atrial myxoma is reported. The patient was a 50-year-old woman who has been suffered from occasional vertigo and syncopal attack. She was admitted with a sud-den loss of consciousness and cerebeller ataxia on December 1, 1983. Cerebral angiogram revealed multiple aneurysms in the periphery of both middle cerebral arteries and obstruction of the right superior cerebeller artery. Echocardiography displayed a cardiac myxoma in the left atrium. She suddenly died from reccurent cerebral embolism on January 7, 1984.
