筋紡錘の形態と病理

Morphology and pathology of the muscle spindle

はじめに

　Weismann（1861）が筋紡錘（蛙）を初めて形態学的に記載し，Kuhne（1864）が"Muskelspindel"の術語を用いて以来，筋紡錘の形態と神経支配は哺乳類動物を中心に明らかにされてきている。筋紡錘の複雑な構造と神経支配を理解するために，Cooper（1960）・Matthews（1972）・Barker（1974）の綜説は有用である。これら綜説の出版後（1975年以降），錘内筋線維の分類ならびにその神経支配の研究は目覚しく，その内容は時代遅れになりつつある。また，その病理形態についての記載もきわめて少ないのが現状である。本稿では，最近の進歩を含めた筋紡錘の形態と神経支配，第二に，筋紡錘の病理形態について可能な限り触れてみたい。

　The review by Cooper (1960), Matthews (1972) and Barker (1974) is useful to know the muscle spindle morphology, but nowadays their contents are seemed to be out-of-date for the recent developments. Several important reports during the last 5 years are possibly introduced in the first chapter, which contain both the new recognition of three fibre types of intrafusal muscle fibre: bag fibre, bag₂ fibre and chain fibre, and the new information about the spindle innervation including the autonomic innervation to spindles.
