Fluorescent microscopic study on adrenergic innervation of the arteries coursing from the base of skull to the inner ear of the guinea pig

Ⅰ．はじめに

　古くから，めまい，難聴，耳鳴の中には，血管運動神経，すなわち，交感神経の機能失調による内耳循環障害に基づくものがあると想定されている。たとえば，突発性難聴，レルモワイエ症候群，メニエール病などである。また，頸部外傷後のめまいの発現機序には，頸部交感神経，とくに椎骨動脈周囲の交感神経叢が関与しているといわれている^18）。

　治療面では，突発性難聴など内耳血流障害によると考えられている疾患に対して，星状神経節遮断術が日常しばしば試みられ，時に著効を示すことがある^31,55）。

Abstract

In order to clarify the innervation pattern and origin of the adrenergic fibers of the arteries supplying to the inner car, various combinations of uni-and bilateral cervical sympathectomy and ganglionectomy (above, below and at the supe-rior cervical sympathetic ganglion) were done using guinea pig as experimental animals. Theadrenergic fibers of the arteries coursing from vertebro-basilar system to the inner ear were fluorescent microscopically observed by Falck-Hillarp's method.
