LIPIDS IN THE CEREBROSPINALFLUID IN MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS
Determination of the lipids in the cerebrospinal fluidis very difficult to do. Only a few results are to befound in the literature, but Tourtelotte has made upa review of all the results and it seems so, that thecontent of lipids in the cerebrospinal fluid is about 500times lesser than the content of lipids in serum. Compared with the protein the content of protein in cerebrospinal fluid is 200 times lesser than the content ofprotein found in serum.
