Malignant Glioma with Extraneural Metastases: Report of an Autopsy Case

I．はじめに

　神経膠腫の神経管外転移はまれで，文献上にみられる症例のなかでも厳密な批判に耐えるものはきわめて少ない。われわれは，約9年の経過をもつ右前頭葉のglioblastomaが神経管外転移を生じた1例を，初発時から死亡まで観察治療し，剖検により確認しえたので，ここに報告する。

　A case of glioblastoma multiforme in the right frontal lobe, fulfilling Weiss' criteria, metastasizing to the cervical lymph nodes, the 12 th thoracic vertebra, and lungs on both sides, was reported.

　The patient was an eleven-year-old boy when first admitted on our hospital because of headache, nausea, and hemiparesis on the left side. After the first surgical removal of the tumor, recurrences repeated several times and finally expired at the age of 20 years old.
