一酸化炭素中毒—主に急性中毒後の遷延例について

序言

　諸種ガス中毒のうち，一酸化炭素中毒は最もしばしば起るものであり，また急性症状経過後，主として精神神経系統に重い後遺症を残すことが，古くから知られており，既に1905年にSibeliusはその病型を分類している。中毒は木炭，練炭，鉱山爆発，火薬爆発，工業用ガスなどで起るが，最も一般的なのは，5〜30％のCOを含む燃料用市中ガスによるものである。我が国でもCOによる死亡数はかなり多く，原生省の統計によれば，第1表のごとくである。

　左の項の数が右2項の合計より多いのは，これら以外の項目に分類されたためで，昭和30年以前にはCO中毒による死亡総数の記載はない。

This is a report of the nine delaied casesand a discussion of the clinical features of the40 delaied cases that have been found in Japa-nese literature. The interval type (22cases) hasfrequently been found in 40-59 year decades(15 cases-68%). The non-interval type (25 ca-ses) has frequently been found in 20-39 yeardecades (15 cases 60%).

Their histopathological findings and chroniccarbonmonoxide poisoning have been stated bri-efly.
