Wilson氏病の一症例に関する組織化学的検討

Histochemical Studies on a Case of Wilson's Disease

　1883年Westphalが多発硬化症より抽出した仮性硬化症（Pseudosklerose）及び1912年Wilsonがパーキンソニスムスより抽出したWilson氏病が本態的に同一であることが，病理学者側からはSpielmeyerにより，又臨床例からはHallらによつて推定され，今日"Degeneratio hepatolenticularis"との疾患単位として総合されたことは衆知のごとくである。

　本病は稀有の疾患と考えられるが，最近発見率が良好となり，われわれの教室においても故堀見教授が本疾患に関心を抱いてその発見につとめ，すでに23例（15家系）を経験した。

　The copper distribution in various tissues was histochemically studied on a patient with Wilson's disease. The copper was demonstrated to be distributed in the cerebral cortex, lenticular nuclei, caudate nuclei and thalamus ; in the liver cells and Kupffer cells; in the blood plasma and in some of the neutrophile white blood corpuscles.

　Furthermore, the authers pointed out that the dimethylaminobenzylindenerhodanine method and the rubeanic acid method for the copper determination in tissue did not necessary require to react for many hours or to keep 37℃ during incubation.
