　転移性頭蓋内腫瘍はMc Leanによると，悪性腫瘍の5.6％にあるといわれている。又、Madow and AIpersは転移性頭蓋内腫瘍の106例中に4例の転移性脳膜炎型癌腫症metastatic meningoencephalitic carcinomatosisを記載している。吾吾がここに報告するのは所謂癌性脳膜炎meningitis carcinomatosaである事が剖検の上確められたが，かかる疾患の存在を知って居れば生前に診断が確定出来たと思われる症例である。

The author reported a case of diffuse metastatic menigeal carcinomatosis; a 47 aged woman, complaining of severe nausea and vomi. tting and cloudness of consciousness, showed the very high pressure of cerebrospinal fluid. Two days after the ventriculopleurostomy she dead and the diffuse proliferation of adenocarcinom cells in meningen was found. The primary source was not examined since the necropsy was only limited to the intracranium.
