エゴン・シーレは28歳で生涯を閉じたオーストリアの画家である。彼の絵画の特徴から，彼自身がジストニアだったのではないかと言われているようであるが，最近の研究，また彼の絵や肖像を見る限りそれらしい点はない。むしろ，医学的な題材をもとに絵を描いていた点が推察され，サルペトリエール病院の絵を参考にしたこともある可能性も指摘されている。

Abstract

Egon Schiele was one of the famous expressionist painters and ended his short life at the age 28 years. Based on the characteristics of his paintings, it was considered that he might have had cervical dystonia. However, the hypothesis may be wrong. The interesting things are that he might have strongly influenced by medical materials including neuropsychiatric patients seen in Salpêtrière hospital.
