■女性で呼吸性に増強する右季肋部～心窩部痛を認めた場合，Fitz-Hugh-Curtis症候群（以下FHCS,J1）も鑑別に入れる．
■心窩部～右季肋部の圧痛と強い肝叩打痛，血沈の亢進が鍵．
■婦人科的愁訴や婦人科診察所見に乏しくても，本症の否定はできない．
