本邦の非泌尿器科医師の前立腺癌に対する認識についての考察

An Analysis of the Recognition of Prostate Cancer among Japanese Nonurological Practitioners

　当科に紹介された初発前立腺癌101例のうち，年齢分布では60,70,80歳代がそれぞれ約30％つつを占め，臨床病期ではC,Dの進行癌が合わせて74％を占めていた。病期B以上の臨床的前立腺癌88例の解析では，尿閉・排尿困難などの排尿症状で紹介された例が65％と多く，紹介状での直腸指診所見・血清PSA値の記載はともに14％と低かった。以上より，本邦の非泌尿器科医師の前立腺癌に対する認識はいまだに低いものと想定された。

One hundred and one patients of non-treated prostate cancer were referred to our hospital by nonurological practitioners during August 1990 to March 1996. The age distributions of the patients were the sixties, seventies and eighties with about 30%, respectively, while clinically advanced prostate cancers (stage C and D) occupied 74% of the patients.
