内尿道口部に発生した尿道平滑筋腫

URETHRAL LEIOMYOMA IN A FEMALE: A CASE REPORT

　65歳，女性。主訴は尿閉．尿線中絶。外陰部に異常所見なく，膀胱内視鏡検査で，内尿道口右側より膀胱側に向かってポリープ状に発育する球状の腫瘤が認められた。尿道腫瘍と診断し，膀胱高位切開にて腫瘍摘出術を施行した。病理組織学的診断は平滑筋腫であった。

A 65-year-old woman was admitted to our hospital with the chief complaint of urinary retention. Urinalysis revealed slight microscopic hematuria. Ultrasonography and cysto-urethroscopic examination revealed a globular tumor located near the internal urethral orifice. The tumor was 3×3cm in size and 12 g in weight and smoothsur-faced and elastic hard.

The tumor was removed with through suprapubic cystotomy and histopathological diagnosis was a benign leiomyoma. Female urethral leiomyoma is rare but must be considered as a cause of urinary retention.
