両側性多発肺転移巣切除が有効であった腎癌

SURGICAL TREATMENT OF BILATERAL MULTIPLE PUL-MONARY METASTASES IN A PATIENT WITH RENAL CELL CARCINOMA

　症例は62歳，男性。左側腎腫瘍で根治腎摘除術を施行している。両側肺転移巣に対し，インターロイキン併用のLymphokine activated killer；LAK療法を施行，転移巣の増大を認めた時点でこれら病巣に対し手術療法を施行した。左側では27個，右側では6個の転移巣に対し，肺部分切除，腫瘍核出術および無水アルコールによる凝固療法を施行した。術後2年10か月を経過した現在，自宅加療中である。

The patient was a 62-year-old man with a diagnosis of left renal cell carcinoma and pulmonary metastases. He had undergone left radical nephrectomy followed by adoptive immunotherapy using LAK cells and IL-2. Because of the increasing size of the metastatic lesion, bilateral thoracotomy was performed and the multiple metastases (27 tumors in the left lung and 6 tumors of the right lung) were treated by partial resection. enuclea-tion, or local injection of absolute alchol. He is still alive at home with recurrent disease at 2 years and 10 months after the operation.
