　前立腺小細胞癌は，きわめてまれな腫瘍であり，本邦では数例の報告をみるにすぎない。今回筆者らはその1例を経験したので報告する。

　某医にて前立腺癌（中分化腺癌）と診断され，内分泌療法を受けた66歳の男性が，排尿困難を主訴に受診。諸検査にて前立腺小細胞癌およびそのリンパ節，肝，骨転移の診断。シスプラチン，エトポシドによる化学療法で原発巣，肝転移巣は著明に縮小し，治療前，高値を示した血中CEA, NSEも著明に低下した。

A 66-year old man, who had been diagnosed as moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma of the prostate and had been treated with hormonal therapy at another hospital, was admitted with the chief complaint of dysuria. Digital rectal examination showed an enlarged, irregular prostate with stony consis-tency. Serum levels of carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and neuron-specific enolase (NSE) were elevated, whereas serum prostatic acid phosphatase and prostate specific antigen were not increased.
