64歳，女性．健康診断の際，右腎腫瘤を指摘されて来院し，右腎細胞癌の診断で根治的腎摘除術を施行した．腎中央部に9cm大のほぼ球形の被膜に包まれた黄褐色の腫瘍が認められた，病理学的にオンコサイトーマと診断した．術後3年2ヵ月を経た現在まで経過良好である．
A 64 year-old woman came to our hospital because of a right renal mass incidentally found by sonogra-phy in health check up. The patient underwent successful right radical nephrectomy. The specimen, weighing about 500 g, had a yellow-brown encapsuled spherical tumor 9 cm in diameter. A pathological diagnosis of renal oncocytoma was made. Follow up showed no evidence of recurrence three years two months postoper-atively.
