81歳，男性．水腎症精査目的で受診した．後腹膜線維症の疑いでCTガイド下針生検を施行し，確定診断した．ステロイド療法のみで著効を示し，経過観察中である．
A case of idiopathic retroperitoneal fibrosis is presented. The patient was a 81-year old male who was admitted to our hospital because of an examination for left hydronephrosis. Computed tomography demon- strated the soft tissue mass around the aorta in which the left ureter was involved. Histological diagnosis was performed by needle biopsy under CT. He has a remarkable response to steroid therapy.
