Abstract
We report a case of ruptured renal artery aneurysm which was successfully treated by trancatheter arterial embolization (TAE). A 76-year-old woman was brought to the ambulance because computed tomography (CT) scan revealed a ruptured right renal artery aneurysm with 8 cm in diameter and blood clots in the bladder. Emergent TAE using micro coils was performed. Her condition has stabilized and renal function was not significantly deteriorated after TAE. We consider that TAE for the rupture of the renal artery aneurysm would become the treatment option (Rinsho Hinyokika 73 : 767-770, 2019).
