テレビモニターによる経尿道的前立腺切除術

TRANSURETHRAL RESECTION OF PROSTATE UNDER TV-MONITORING

　TVモニターによる経尿道的前立腺切除術（TV-TURP）を従来の内視鏡レンズをのぞいて行うTURPと比較した。従来のTURP群およびTV-TURP群で，切除時間，検血比，Na比，輸血頻度，循環不全頻度を比べると，両群間で有意の差はなく，TV-TURPは従来のTURPに遜色ないものであった。しかもTV-TURPは，①視野が拡大され，②周囲の人が術者と同一画面を同時にみられ，③切除鏡を自由に動かせる，等の長所があり，今後従来のTURPに取って代わるものと考えられる。

Since February 1987, we have used television (TV) monitor as a main source for operative guiding during transurethral resection (TURP) with continuous irrigation system by suprapubic cystostomy (TV-TURP). The surgeon simply watches the image on the TV monitor not look through the endoscopic lens at all. Forty six cases of TV-TURP were compared with 50 cases of conventional continuous outflow TURP. Operating time, the ratios of the decrease of blood count and serum sodium after operation compared to before operation, the frequency of blood transfusion and circula-ting disorder were examined.
