体外衝撃波砕石術を行った幼児尿路結石の2例

EXTRACORPOREAL SHOCK WAVE LITHOTRIPSY IN TWO PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN

　体外衝撃波砕石術を幼児の上部尿路結石2症例に実施した。症例1は6歳男児，9×6mmの右下部尿管結石例。全麻下に4000発のESWLを行った。症例2は4歳男児，40×22mmの左サンゴ状結石例。全麻下に補助的処置なく計3回12000発の体外衝撃波砕石術を行った。幼児例では麻酔方法や砕石方法などを，症例毎により綿密に検討する必要がある。

Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsv (ESWL) was performed for upper urinary tract calculi in 2 pre school children.

Case 1 : A 6 year old boy was treated by ESWL for a stone (9 × 6 mm) in the right lower ureter. The treatment was done under general anesthesia, and the number of shock waves were 4,000. Case 2 : A 4-year -old boy was treated with ESWL monotherapy for left renal staghorn calculi (40 × 22 mm). He required 3 sessions of treatment and total 12.000 shock waves. All sessions did not require any further techniques in focussing and fragmenting.
