難治性前立腺炎に対する経穴刺激療法の経験

POINT STIMULATION WITH ELECTRICAL ACUPUNCTURE AND MAGNETIC PLASTER FOR INCURABLE CASES OF CHRONIC PROSTATITIS

緒言

　慢性前立腺炎は泌尿器科外来においてかなりの頻度を占めるにもかかわらず，その原因，診断，治療の面でまだ十分に確立されていない疾患である。慢性前立腺炎の治療には薬物療法がかなり有効ではあるが，一方では再発例も多い。また薬物療法無効例では前立腺マッサージや温坐浴などの他の治療を行つてもなかなか愁訴がとれず，われわれ泌尿器科医はその取り扱いに頭を悩まされることも少なくない。

　今回われわれは，通常の治療法で症状の改善がみられない難治性前立腺炎25例に対して「経穴（ツボ）」刺激による東洋医学的治療を試みたところ，非常に満足すべき結果を得たので報告する。

Twenty-five cases of incurable prostatitis under conventional therapy were treated by means of point stimulation with electrical acupuncture and magnetic plaster. Subjective and objective efficacy was ob-tained in 72% and 84% of the cases, respectively. The rate of total effectiveness of this treatment was 72%. Associated symptoms such as constipation, diarrhea, lumbago, was also improved markedly. Most of the patients who showed no effectiveness had some organic or functional disorders other than prostatitis.
