腎原発の肉腫として，平滑筋肉腫，脂肪肉腫，線維肉腫，血管肉腫，横紋筋肉腫などの報告があるが，いずれも稀なものである。最近，われわれは，腎平滑筋肉腫の1例を経験したので，本邦における本腫瘍についての統計的考察を加えて報告する。
A 35-year-old man came to our clinic because of right flank mass. Routine laboratory findings were within normal limits. Selective right renal angiogram showed hypervascular tumor which was located at the lower pole of right kidney. Translumbar right radical nephrectomy with hilar and paraaortic lymphnode dissection was performed. The specimen weighed 240g. Pathological diagnosis was leiomyo-sarcoma with lymphnode metastasis. Therefore, the adjuvant chemotherapy including VP-16 and OK-432 was given. The patient has been in satisfactory condition without signs of recurrence or metastasis for 10 months after the surgery.
