サンゴ状結石に移行した腎軟結石の1例

A CASE OF MATRIX RENAL CALCULI FOLLOWED BY THE SUBSEQUENT GROWTH OF STAGHORN RENAL CALCULI

緒言

　最近，血尿および腎盂腎炎を初期症状として腎軟結石を形成し，経過観察中にサンゴ状結石に進展した興味ある1例を経験したので報告する。

The development of matrix calculi into staghorn calculi in the kidney, which has been theoretically suggested by some researchers, has not yet been confirmed. We report a case of matrix renal calculi which developed into staghorn calculi during a 3-month-follow-up period. A 24-year-old woman, who had been treated for right ureteral stones and left renal stones since November, 1981, noticed high-grade fever, left flank pain and macroscopic hematuria on March 31, 1982. A diagnosis of left acute pyelone-phritis caused by Proieus mirabilis was made and the patient was treated with antibiotics at Tomari Hospital.
