胎便性腹膜炎に合併した陰嚢壊死の1例

A CASE OF SCROTAL NECROSIS DUE TO MECONIUM PERITONITIS

緒言

　胎便性腹膜炎に合併した陰嚢腫大から陰嚢壊死に陥つた症例を経験したので，報告する。

A male infant was born with abdominal distension and scrotal' swelling, but was otherwise well. 7 hours after the birth, at laparotomy small bowel perforation was found and bowel resection was done. However, a communication between the scrotum and abdominal cavity was not observed. Preoperative X-ray examination showed no intraabdominal or scrotal calcification.

The postoperative course was satisfactory without markedly swollen scrotum. 6 days later, swollen scrotum colored green and partially black due to skin necroris, and cultures of punctured fluid from scrotum yielded p. aeruginosa.
