膀胱扁平上皮癌22例の臨床統計的観察

CLINICAL STUDY ON TWENTYTWO CASES OF SQUAMOUS CELL CARCINOMA OF URINARY BLADDER

緒言

　膀胱扁平上皮癌は，全膀胱腫瘍の5％前後^1,2）しか占めないが，移行上皮癌についで多い。その臨床像や経過は，移行上皮癌のそれと異なる点が多く，一般に予後は著しく不良である。今回，われわれは慈恵医大付属病院で1968年から1979年までの12年間に経験した22例の膀胱扁平上皮癌について臨床統計的観察を行なつたので報告する。

1) 22 cases of squamous cell carcinoma of urinary bladder were treated at department of urology, Jikei University School of Medicine in the period from 1968 to 1979.

2) Five year actual survival rate was 24.7% in all 22 cases.

3) In 7 cases of operation therapy, when combined with radiation therapy, 5 year actual survival rate improved to 40%. From this result, radiation therapy has enough value for treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of urinary bladder.

4) For more improvement in the treatment of squamous cell carcinoma of urinary bladder, combination therapy with operation, radiation and chemotherapy should be employed.
