小児睾丸腫瘍肺転移の1治験例

A CASE OF INFANTILE TESTICULAR EMBRYONAL CELL CARCINOMA WITH PULMONARY METASTASES

緒言

　除睾術後早期に肺転移を来した小児睾丸胎児性癌に対し，Linac照射と多剤併用療法でほぼ治癒したと思われる症例を経験したので報告する。

The paper presents a case of non-seminoma with pulmonary metastases who is alive more than 3 years after complete remission by irradiation combined with various kinds of chemotherapy.

A twenty-six months old Japanese boy was first seen at our clinic on October 11, 1974. He under-went extirpation of the left swollen testis which was diagnosed embryonal cell carcinoma in May, 1974. Two metastases (14mm and 17mm in diameter respectively) in the upper field of the left lung were found by chest x-ray film in July.
