緒言
Cowper腺の疾患は，比較的稀な疾患であり，しかも臨床症状が乏しいためか発見されることが少ない。今回われわれは著明な排尿困難を主訴とした，今までに報告例のない，Cowper腺由来の腺腫様過形成の1例を経験したので報告する。
A 40-year-old man was admitted because of difficulty of urination. Voiding cysturethrography revealed a marked stricture at the bulbous portion of the urethra. Perineotomy disclosed a finger-tip sized firm mass that firmly attached to the proximal end of bulbous urethra. The mass was removed and considered to be the cause of urethral obstruction. Histological examination showed a benign adenomatous hyperplasia of the Cowper's gland without evidence of inflammation or neoplastic change. After the operation, patient has been asymptomatic.
