はじめに

　泌尿器系のコンピュータ断層撮影，ComputedTomography（以下CTスキャンと略す）に関する知見は全身用装置の発達とその導入によつて放射線科医および泌尿器科医によつて報告されるようになつた。手術療法を主な手段とする泌尿器科医にとつては，病変の本質はもちろん，周囲への影響をも把握して治療に当る関係上，CT像がどのような新しい意義をもつのかはぜひとも検討し，それを有意に活用すべきものと考える。われわれは1977年6月より1978年9月までに40例の泌尿器科的腎疾患につきOhionuclear社のDeltascan装置（いわゆる第2世代に属し，one sliceに2分30秒を要する）を使用し，その成績の一部は既に報告した^1）。今回，われわれの経験例のうち，上記の目的に照らして興味ある例をあげ，本法についての考え方を述べてみたい。

Forty cases of urological patients were observed by computed tomography (Ohio-nuclear's Delta-scan). Out of these, 6 presented cases were as follows: 1) 77-year-old hydronephrosis female, the kidney size was demonstrated objectively. 2) 50-year-old horseshoe kidney male, isthmus was demonstrated very clearly. 3) 67-year-old male, CT number was valuable to make a differential diagnosis of central necrosis of renal cell carcinoma and renal cyst. 4) 61-year-old male, large renal tumor was diagnosed by renal arteriography but tumor occupied area was confirmed by CT.
