腎盂内のみに発育したWilms腫瘍の1例

A CASE OF WILMS'TUMOR WITH THE GROWTH CONFINED IN THE RENAL PELVIS

はじめに

　Wilms腫瘍は神経芽細胞腫に比較して根治的手術の可能性が高く，予後も比較的良好である。治療成績をさらに向上させるためには，いち早く診断し，的確な手術をすることが望まれる。最近われわれは血尿とnon visualizing kidneyを呈しながら，術前まで診断の困難だつた特異なWilms腫瘍を経験したので報告する。

A 2 yr 9 mo-old girl was reported with a chief complaint of grosshematuria. IVP revealed left non-visualizing kidney. Renal angiography showed sparse vascularity of left kidney, without tumor-vessels, suggestive of hydronephrosis. Left nephrectomy was performed and dilated renal pelvis was filled with a large tumor which was apparently covered with pelvic mucosa.

Histologic finding revealed Wilms' tumor. Following irradiation and chemotherapy, the patient is well without any evidence of recurrence or metastasis, one year after the surgery.
