はじめに

　最近，Wilms腫瘍の中でnon-visualizing kidneyの頻度が比較的高いことが報告されている。われわれは，腎実質が腫瘍で全部占有され，腎杯，腎盂内にも鋳型状に腫瘍発育し完全なnon-visualizingkidneyを呈した珍しいWilms腫瘍を経験したので報告すると共に若干の考察を試みた。

A three year and eight month old boy with fever as initial symptom, was admitted for frequent vomiting and rapidly enlarging abdominal mass. Palpation of the abdomen revealed a mass filling the entire right upper quadrant. D.I.P. demonstrated a large right upper flank mass with non-visualizing kidney, but the left kidney was normal. Diagnosis of Wilms' tumor of the right kidney was made. Nephtectomy was performed. Preoperatively, the patient was treated with Actinomycin D, and postoperatively with radiation therapy. The pathologic specimen weighed 795gm (13×10.5×9.5cm).
