腎回転異常を伴つた腎外腎杯の1例

A CASE OF EXTRARENAL CALYCES IN THE MALROTATED KIDNEY

緒言

　腎外腎杯とは，腎盂および腎杯の大部分が腎外に存し，腎実質とは小腎杯の段階で連結する極めて稀な先天性奇形である。1925年，Eisendrath^1）が4例をまとめて報告したのが最初で，われわれの調べた範囲では，今日まで世界で21例の臨床報告をみるにすぎない。最近われわれは，腎回転異常および水腎症を伴つた腎外腎杯の1例を経験したので，若干の考察を加えて報告する。

A 30-year-old male visited our hospital with the chief complaints of abdominal pain and microscopic hematuria. Left kidney was not visualized on an excretory urogram, but retrograde pyelography revealed remarkable hydronephrosis due to pelvioureteral obstruction and malformations of the urinary system. Pyeloplasty was successfully performed. Left kidney was excessively rotated and six extrarenal calyces were noted.

A review of the literature on extrarenal calyces was presented and etiology was discussed. We emphasized the necessity of further investigation in surgical treatments of these patients aside from ne-phrectomy.
