はじめに

　Milk of calcium renal stoneは1959年Howell^1）により初めて報告された疾患である。X線上，カルシウムを主成分とするコロイドまたは無数の微小結石がミルク様流動性の陽性陰影を呈することにより命名されたもので，腎嚢腫や腎憩室などの内部に生じた無数の結石が体位変換の際に移動し，単純撮影立位では上方に水平面をもつ半月様陰影を示し，仰臥位では類円形の陰影を示す。

　これまで本症の報告例は少なく，本邦では1968年広中ら^2）の報告以来25例を数えるにすぎない。

A case of milk of calcium renal stone in a 32-year old female was reported. Patient was admitted with left flank pain and lassitude. Abdominal plain film showed a oval positive shadow at her left kidney region in supine position, but in standing position the shadow changed its form to semilunar (sign of milk calcium). Intravenous pyelography and retrograde pyelography were performed, which proved no comminication between renal pelvis and the shadow. Diagnosis of milk of calcium renal stone, cystic type was made. Excision of the cyst with lithotomy was performed and about 500 tiny golden stones were removed.
