  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

The PSP index (PSPI) and the plasma PSP concentration were measured in 42 cases.

The sixty-minute plasma PSP concentration (PSP60) showed the highest correlation with PSPI, creatinine clearance and PSP excretion test in the patients with no dead space in the upper urinary tract. However, the PSP60 showed no correlation with PSP excretion test in the patients with dead space in the upper urinary tract. The zero time value by backward extrapolation were calculated at 0. 47 ± 0.01 mg/dl, and so-called "PSP space" is comparable to 21.3% of the body weight.
