副睾丸，睾丸梅毒および前立腺梅毒の1例

A CASE OF SYPHILITIC EPIDIDYMO-ORCHITIS AND PROSTATITIS

　最近，われわれは前立腺肥大症に梅毒性副睾丸，睾丸炎および梅毒性前立腺を合併した1例を経験したので報告する。

A 76 year-old man visited our clinic on April 6, 1974 with chief complaints of dysuria, fever and painful swelling of the left scrotal contents. At the age of 22 he suffered from gonorrhea and soft chancre, and underwent antiluetic therapy. On laboratory examination, serologic test for syphilis was positive and severe anemia was found. in spite of antiluetic therapy by Hyasorb 1. 5 g/day, the left scrotal contents grew larger and was diagnosed as left nonspecific epididymitis. Since rectal examination and urethrogram revealed benign prostatic hypertrophy, retropubic prostatcctomy and left orchidectomy were performed on June 9.
