緒言

　術後合併症には多彩な症状を呈するものが少なくないが，われわれは尿管切石術後にテタニー様症状を呈した症例を経験したので，ここに報告する。

A right ureterolithotomy was performed in a 66 year old male for acute renal failure [BUN 71 mg/dl, creatinine 6. 9mg/dl, K 6. 8mEq/L, PSP 2% (15min.), 9. 5% (120min.)] due to incarceration of right ureteral stone and its colicky pain. Postoperative polyuria and sudden correction of acidosis resulted in tetanic equivalents such as unconsciousness after pressure feeling of the chest, violent move-ment of the whole body complaining pain, convulsive seizure of extremity, violently stimulated by slight irritation.
