緒言

　腎盂扁平上皮癌は比較的稀な疾患であり，またその組織発生とくに結石との関係，および予後のはなはだ不良である点で注目される疾患である。

　われわれはさきに自験例2例を含めた本邦症例45例について検討したが，大半は術後6ヵ月以内に死亡しており，3年生存例は1例もみられなかつた^1）。

A case of squamous cell carcinoma of the renal pelvis observed over a period of three years and four months after operation was reported.

A 48-year-old male was admitted with complaint of right flank pain of two months dura-tion. Urinalysis revealed microscopic hematuria but bacteria in urine was negative. No irregularities were recognized in blood chemistry tests. The plain film disclosed many shadows of small calculi in the right kidney, while the excretory urogram revealed stenosis of the right ureteropelvic junction and hydro-nephrosis.
