Adrenal bleeding of the newborn is noticed once in 1000 to 17000 deliveries and 2 to 9% of the autopsied still birth and death after delivery, which is rather a high incidence. Very rarely, accurate diagnosis leading to adequate treatment is done, for its colorful symptoms and are mostly diagnosed by autopsy. It seems that there are only 15 life saved cases in the literature abroad and none in the Japanese literature.

A case in a 2 day-old female, born by aspiration delivery, saved by successful treatment, was reported
