女子巨大膀胱結石の1例

A CASE REPORT OF GIANT VESICAL CALCULUS IN A FEMALE

緒言

　尿路結石症は，現在最も頻度の高い疾患であるが，大部分は上部尿路結石であり，膀胱結石は相対的には少ないが，それでも日常の泌尿器科臨床ではしばしば遭遇する疾患である。しかし，巨大な膀胱結石はそれ程多いものではない。

　われわれは最近，女子にみられた230gの巨大膀胱結石の1例を経験したので報告する。

The case is a 56 year-old female, who visited our clinic with the chief complaint of urinary incontinence. Plain film of the pelvis revealed a 9.0×7.5 cm large stone-like shadow and cystoscopic examination confirmed the diagnosis of bladder stone. Vesicolithotomy was performed for giant bladder calculi.

The removed stone weighed 230g, sized 8.5×6.5×5.5 cm and was a mixture of carbonate, oxalate and phosphate.

Bladder mucosa showed squamous metaplasia by histopathological studies.
