コールドパーマ第2液服用による急性腎不全の2症例

2 CASES OF ACUTE RENAL FAILURE CAUSED BY COLD-PERMANENT WAVE 2ND LIQUID

緒言

　コールドパーマ第2液，すなわち，ブロム酸カリウムの服用による中毒で，急性腎不全をひきおこした症例は，本邦において，文献上さきに4例をみる。今回，われわれも，美容師が自殺の目的で，コールドパーマ第2液を服用し，無尿となり尿毒症状態で入院し，人工腎による人工血液透析を行ない，救命し得た2症例を経験したので報告する。

2 cases of anuria caused by oral intake of 15 grams of 2nd formula for cold permanent wave, in female hair-dressers, for the purpose of comitting suicide, were reported. Both cases were admitted on the 6th or 7th day, following the oral intake, after 3 or 4 days duration of anuria.

Hemodialysis was done soon after admission and both case recovered gradually. Proteinuria, hyper-tension and impaired renal function was still noticed at discharge.
