Ⅰ．緒言
最近我々の教室において静脈血栓症，動脈瘤，後腹膜腫瘍などとの鑑別困難であつた症例を経験し，診断上注意すべき2,3の知見を得たので報告する。
Clinical observation on 4 cases of primary carcinoma of ureter, which were quite difficult to differen-tiate from phlebothrombosis, aneurysm and retroperitoneal tumor, were reported and few points on its differential diagnosis were stressed.
1) Preoperative diagnosis were retroperitoneal tumor in 2 cases, and aneurysm and cancer of the ureter in each case, among the 4 cases.
2) Among the 4 cases, tumor and removal of the kidney were done in 2 cases and exploratory laparotomy was performed in the other 2 cases.
3) Histopathological findings were squamous cell carcinoma in 1 case and simple carcinoma in 3 cases.
