膿胸をひきおこした結石性膿腎症の1例

A CASE OF PYOTHORAX SECONDARY TO CALCULOUS PYONEPHROSIS

Ⅰ．はじめに

　われわれは三井厚生病院泌尿器科において，結石性膿腎症→腎皮質膿瘍→腎周囲膿瘍→膿胸という転帰をとり，腎摘除術により治癒せしめた症例を経験した。

　わが国では1935年に鈴木が^1）肺に穿孔した1例を報告しており，外国では1953年にWharton^2）が18例を集計している。

A case of pyothorax, secondary to calculous pyonephrosis which developed perinephric abscess and treated by nephrectomy in a 40 years old female who visited the urological department of Mitsui Kosei Hospital, was reported. Case of pyothorax due to perirenal abscess penetrating the diaphragm is very rare since there is only one case in the Japanese literature reported by Suzuki in 1935. The possibility of perirenal abscess being the cause of pyothorax was reported.
