A 44-year-old man received intended longitudinal laceration of the whole anterior urethra with a razorblade by his former wife. The laceration ranged from the meatus to the peno-scrotal junction. The patient underwent simple suture of the urethra, which was resulted in complete re-open of the wound. Thirteen years later, the patient presented us for reconstruction of the urethra after remarriage. The figure of the penis was just like peno-scrotal hypospadia. The patient underwent one-stage urethroplasty employing the Thiersch's method. The postoperative course was good except for delayed healing of a part of the wound. Finally, the wound cured with neither urethral stricture nor urethral-cutaneous fistula. The patient gained normal urination and improved erectile function. There is no report on“non-iatrogenic hypospadias”like the present case.
