ダウン症候群に発生した精巣腫瘍

A case of testicular tumor associated with Down's syndrome

症例は32歳，男性。生下時よりダウン症候群と診断されていた。左陰囊内容の腫大を主訴に当科受診。触診・陰囊エコーにて精巣腫瘍が疑われ，左高位精巣摘除術を施行。病理組織では，セミノーマ，pT1であった。明らかな転移を認めなかったため，追加治療は行わなかった。ダウン症候群に合併した精巣腫瘍報告例は少なく，本症例は本邦32例目にあたる。

A 32-year-old man with Down's syndrome consulted our hospital complaining of left scrotal swelling. Physical findings and ultrasonography revealed a testicular tumor. CT scan demonstrated no metastatic lesion. Left inguinal orchiectomy was performed and the pathological examination revealed a pure seminoma（pT1）. No adjuvant therapy was administered because the cancer seemed localized. This is the 32nd case of testicular tumor occurred in patient with Down's syndrome in Japan.
