  • Abstract
  • Look Inside

Two cases of erythrodermia accompanied by malignant neoplasmas ; namely, subacute myeloblastic leukemia and reticulosarcomatosis were reported. Cases of erythrodermia associated with myelogenous ieukemia are rare.

Although the skin manifestations and the primary disorders in both cases subsided tempora-lily by the treatment with corticosteroids and antineoplastic drugs, they died finally.

In the first case, red miliary papules were observed when the skin manifestation imp-roved.

Erythrodermia is a kind of skin reactions to different kinds of ethiologic agents or diseases.

It is proper to classify erythrodermia into two types : acute and chronic ones.

Some cases of chronic erythrodermia occur as sequences of eczema, psoriasis or malignant neoplasmas. More cases due to malignancies in the cases of so-called idiopathic chronic erythrodermia will be proved, if we check this point in more detail.
