外耳道血管腫の1症例

Cavernous Hemangioma of the External Auditory Canal

　はじめに

　外耳道腫瘍は，頭頸部腫瘍の中でも比較的稀であるとされ，外来患者の0.05％^1）とされている。また，外耳道腫脹，耳痛，耳出血，耳漏などの外耳炎と共通する症状を呈するため，診断に時間を要することが多い。

　今回われわれは，慢性外耳道炎の経過中に発症し，初診医受診から治療まで約6年の歳月を要した外耳道血管腫の1症例を経験したので報告する。

A 34-year-old male presented with a soft nodule in the external auditory canal. He had suffered from earpain 6 years, and he was diagnosed as having cavernous hemangioma.

MRI revealed the external auditory canal as ultra-high intensity on the T2-weighted images, and isointen-sity on the Tl-weighted images. The nodule was enu-cleated and the pathological diagnosis was cavernous hemangioma. There was no sign of recurrence at the time of this report.
